Tudi poslovni svet potrebuje čustva. Res pa je, da nekateri čustva izražajo brez težav, drugim pa gredo težje z jezika. Počutijo se neprijetno, zato menijo, da so čustva v (poslovnem) okolju nepotrebna. Žal to ne drži. Prav čustva so tista, ki nam pomagajo vstopiti v svet ljudi, ki nas obkrožajo, nam priskočijo na pomoč, ko želimo, da drugi razumejo nas, naša dejanja, odločitve in občutke.
